Are you afraid your co-workers might find out? How to share your faith at work

Season #4

In this episode, Staci and her friend Jenny dig into how hard it can be to share your faith at work. They will share tips and their experience. And of course they share a delicious recipe!

How do you share your faith at work? I don’t always have it like this. I had a job that was anti- Christian Demonstration through my thoughts and actions (It is how I live and how I treat others not my preaching to people) leading by example with vulnerability and humility, quick to confess mistakes and apologize and always forgive, show mercy, be patient (fruits of the spirit) Build relationships - invite community I am a high D. I have had to work very hard, and I have to be intentional about not reacting the way that comes most naturally to me. Referencing my church, my church community and events surrounding my faith Items in my office Sharing when appropriate (leadership team opens in prayer sometimes, invited a co-worker to my small group, shared a book with a co-worker) Hosting this podcast in our space being bold in your beliefs (I struggle with this) Shared my win in a quarterly planning session was reading the Bible in chronological order Pray for your team, for your clients, for your industry, for opportunities and success for growth through failure Create a Christ-like culture start with your own kingdom Parable of the mustard seed something so small grows so large and snuffs out the growth of other things. It serves as a refuge and place of rest inviting those not like you to find rest Be prepared to answer questions about my faith - my biggest challenge - I haven’t really been faced with this Trust in His timing and His work (not an accident this is the last one. I wrote everything I know when I should put what He knows above all)

Savor Moment

Invite a co-worker to lunch and listen to their story. Start planting seeds by listening. It is a slow process.

Slow cooked pot roast sliders

I substituted beef stock for the water and I used Mateo's salsa
