62. My God, My Refuge

God is my refuge   Rock of my refuge

Psalm 94:22

Refuge means: seek shelter quickly

Psalm 52:7-8 contrasting making yourself or God your refuge

Am I making God my refuge?

When you face trouble where do you run first (quickly)

God is my refuge

My protection

My guard (defender)

My safe place

My shelter

We don’t have to defend ourself. God will protect us when we go to Him as our Rock of Refuge, abide in the shelter of His wings

It may not feel comfortable but He is always safe

1 Kings 6:23-28

Mercy Seat  shadow of His wings Psalm 57:1 Psalm 91:4, Psalm 17:8,

His Truth is a shield and buckler

When we run to His Truth, we are covered

The two angels sitting over the place where Jesus was raised John 20:12

We seek God as our refuge when we place our trust in Him
