Romans 13:9

Think about the different laws found in scripture: moral laws vs civil laws vs ceremonial law 

Jesus came to fulfill the law (Matthew 5:17)

(Personal) Conviction defined by Webster as a strong persuasion or belief 

1 Corinthians 6:12

John 6:8

Be careful not to take your personal convictions & make them biblical mandates that apply to all

Romans 14:1-3 

Personal conviction is between you & the Lord, not something for you to lord over others 

Savor moment: Discuss with a friend what your favorites coffees, sodas, candy, etc is and then buy one of each to share and see you can have different beliefs in that area and still love each other greatly
